Ancestors in the Attic

Got any secrets in your family tree — skeletons in the ancestral closet? Were your ancestors sinners or saints, royalty or rogues? With Ancestors in the Attic, Canadians dig up some dirt and dig into their family history.

Hosted by Jeff Douglas, Ancestors in the Attic is an irreverent, fast-paced series that sends Canadians on a road trip across the country — and a worldwide search — for their ancestors.

Part personal drama, part CSI-style forensic investigation, part historical revelation, the series reveals not just individual roots but the many stories that make up the history of the country.
